Support Come Reason's Apologetics Missions Trip
Beginning in 2010, Come Reason has been training students and young adults from church groups and schools to defend their faith by taking them on Apologetics Missions trips. These trips bring kids to locations where they will be immersed in worldviews that are at odds with historic Christianity. We've had students face off against atheists in Northern California, Musilms in Dearborn Michigan, and Mormons in Salt Lake City. This year, I'll be joined by 35 students for another trip to U.C. Berkeley where they will go on the street and learn to defend Christianity, the existence of God and creation against atheists and evolutionists. We've had tremendous interest expressed by high school and college kids—many of whom are excited by the opportunity—but I need your help.
These efforts require a lot of preparation, including hours of planning, training the students, and organizing the events. These Apologetics Missions trips are a great opportunity for our students to learn more about the reasons why Christianity is true as well as to set a firm foundation so our students won't lose their faith when facing college professors or others looking to undermine their Christian beliefs. Those who have participated in the last trip came back with a revived confidence in their faith and a boldness allowing them to share it with family and friends.
