If we don't recognize Gods standard of morality as authoritative then morality is quite arbitrary and really without meaning. ddridgeusahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01439946757349431086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6805190.post-51432624567092054482018-03-30T09:34:57.492-07:002018-03-30T09:34:57.492-07:00'The officials would put the Christians on tri...'The officials would put the Christians on trial under false accusations, such as being immoral or being atheists, condemn them in a kangaroo court...'<br /><br />There is no suggestion that either the accusations against the Kleins or the court in which they were tried was false. Whatever you think about the law under which the Kleins were tried, it *has* been established that the accusations were true and they did do the things of which they were accused. You might well find their actions justified, but it is in no way appropriate to compare their case to that of people being falsely accused and tried in kangaroo courts.Dr Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05527764539582203372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6805190.post-86599119935505311912015-12-30T10:17:20.340-08:002015-12-30T10:17:20.340-08:00The fact is that they were ordered to pay all that...The fact is that they were ordered to pay all that they owned. If that's true, then you shouldn't say the penalty took "every penny the bakers had in their bank accounts." It looks like the Kleins made a nice profit - if it's true that they received these donations.<br /><br />Could you check and make sure?
