It is not atheism that has been behind successes of these countries, but rather unity, loyalty and a love for work.<br /><br />It is relatively recently that the countries has grown secular, but I won't go into speculations about the reasons. The fruit of this secularisation is already seen, especially in the capital. Divorces are normal, and few marriages are lifelong. Abortions are commonly seen as a right to every woman. Suicides have been high for a while, but that is mainly because of the depressing milieu.<br /><br />To conclude, these countries have been rather moral, and still are to some extent, but are becoming less and less.
